When theatrical impresario, Charles Pentwick, is accused by his wife of having an affair with a beautiful chorus girl, he flees to the country. But he is unprepared to find the house full of pretty young women, and his top comedian, dressed in drag, sharing a tent with an effete scoutmaster. Then his son appears looking for romantic advice, and his wife arrives to apologise--Pentwick's problems have only just begun!
