Faced with writer's block and a looming deadline for his new film, Guido Contini has a problem, but it's too late to back out. Now he must balance the demands of his mistress, wife, leading lady, producer, and the hoards of beautiful women clamouring to be loved by him and him alone. Retreating to his past, he finds the inspiration to make his new film and to face the world.
